I used to be a Sunni - an ignorant and irreligious one at that - but
Alhamdullilah, Allah guided me to the Right Path, and about 3 years ago I began
learning about Islam as a comprehensive Din, eventually becoming Shia in the

and with the huge individual and social problems that plague our world. I firmly
believe that the Qur'an is the final Word of Allah, and that unless Islam as a
living spiritual-political-economic-social-individual reality is established in
our hearts and in society, the world will remain plagued by problems. If I was
to describe myself in one line, I would say that I was obsessed with Truth,
inflamed by Love, and inspired by Justice. I also have a zany sense of humour
(which hasn't really come out here), and have many creative tendencies. I
frequently express my emotions and thoughts in poetry and painting (although I
don't have much time to paint anymore), as well as vi!
a music (I play the guitar) - in the issue of music I follow Ayatullah Khameni.
I am also currently working on a three volume book that concentrates on the the
West's military, political, economic and cultural hegemony over the world;
rational proof of some of the fundamental Islamic beliefs (e.g. God,
Prophethood, Hereafter, Divine authorship of the Qur'an); Islam as a
comprehensive Din. I am currently cooperating with a group of brothers to set up
some Islamic study circles, with the view to culture ourselves, and eventually
engage society in active dawah. Our aims are nothing other than Islamic
revolution. PS: I wish to die in the way of God - as a martyr.
Looking for:
A Shia Muslim woman who is literally infatuated with Truth, who is
into thinking and contemplating, who loves reading and creativity, who sees
Islam as both a liberation and a revolution, and who is genuinely concerned with
the affairs of society, and of the ummah (and who practices Hijab of her own
will and belief). Most importantly, I would like to be with a woman who truly
sees Islam as that which is most central to her life - a woman who sees Islam as
the only thing worth living for, simply because Islam is the reality of life.
Age or nationality is irrelevant. What is needed is spirituality (i.e. taqwa)
and mutual attraction. By the way, I am not looking for some kind of perfect
saint, just a woman who is striving in the way of Allah, so that we can strive
together and help each other along the way. PS: Since I am currently a student,
